An advanced ice climbing activity for climbers- with ice climbing experience- who would like to climb some challenging pitches on waterfall ice. Depending on your wishes a couple of days can be dedicated to improving existing skills in a course format.
Timetable:
Day 1: Meeting at 17:30 in a hotel in the valley, Welcome talk: course briefing and gear check.
Day 2: Depending on conditions- ether a guided multi pitch climb to rub off the dust, or a single pitch day. Our aim is to rehears ice climbing techniques, and make sure you have a good, solid base before moving on to advanced contents.
Day 3: Multi pitch or multi pitch climbing intro (course)- developing skills and/or a guided climb.
Day 4: Another climb / or a "short pitching” training (course) on an ice fall- maximizing our efficiency while climbing, and at the stance.
Day 5: Check out in the morning, a long guided multi pitch (difficulty level depends on the personal ability) Activity's end around 16:00 .
